Key to my heart Jewelry design

I remember as a young boy, that my mom had a key chain that was a key with a classic heart shape on top. The heart was engraved with " Key to my heart ". I asked my mom what this meant and she told me that my dad had gave it to her when the where dating. I remember really liking this key but not understanding the sentiment behind it. Now many years later I am inspired by this memory. I came up with idea for my boyfriend. I really like the direction that it is going in. I plan on carving it out of wax and casting it in bronze and sliver.

Little Prince work in progress 25% done

So I haven't posted in a super long time. I finished school, and worked my butt off this summer at the pool. When I say I worked my butt off I mean it. lol I lost some weight. But Now that summer is slowing down and I have more time in the day I have started drawing and painting again. I have let go of all the school pressures and just had fun working out ideas. This "little prince" that I am working on is only about 25 to 30 % done. Now that I don't have deadlines I am going balls to the wall on my work and taking my time. I still have a lot of rendering to do, and I'm sure you can tell that he and his love the ross need a ground plane to stand on. That will all be coming soon. Thanks for checking it out. :D

Rachel study #1

First time drawing

This drawing was strange for me to do. None of my layout drawing classes informed me how to draw a diagram like this. This is a good jumping off point for me tho. Now that I have the hang of this type of drawing, I would like to re-do it and make it better. For now, this is my rough. The shot that I want to use this set for is in the upper right hand side. When I first made that beat I felt that It would be powerful if the shot happened outside in the rain. But this scene is when Jake really takes in the fact that is brother Tom is a controller, and that Tobias is stuck as a hawk for the rest of his life, I think it would be more powerful if the shot takes place inside jakes room. His room is not a safe place, but more of a reminder of his failures. Jake is trapped in this life that he never wanted, and feels helpless to save his brother and friend. So I want his room to be a reminder of his old life, and a prison all at the same time. Is that coming across? No I don't think so, but I know that I will work it out.
